I’m an Airtable enthusiast with experience in both relational database designs and writing computer scripts. I have built databases and written scripts for small businesses, large companies, non-profits, hobbyists, solopreneurs, start-ups, and even other Airtable consultants. Clean design and custom code can take your Airtable base to the next level.
A family of coders
I come from a family of coders. My father was a computer science college professor, and my older siblings have all written code as long as I can remember. Alas, those were large shadows to stand in. As a child I watched my family members make magic with computers while while I struggled to teach myself how to program. It would take me many years to overcome that self-doubt.
Databases for small businesses
I discovered databases working for a small business the summer before attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The experience prompted me to take a course in relational database design.
Technical writer
In my first career as a technical writer for the software industry, I wrote scripts to automate my work and taught myself a variety of coding concepts.
Airtable for everyone
After searching for an affordable, robust, cross-platform database solution. I finally found Airtable. I proceeded to convert spreadsheet-loving friends and family members (and one spreadsheet-fearing friend) into database users.
Airtable Developer
Realizing that I would rather create things than document them, I became a freelance consultant specializing in Airtable solutions. I also started developing custom script and extensions for the Airtable platform.
